If you don’t face things then you just go round in that loop, making the same mistakes, acting out your issues in the same tired way, again and again and again, You get stuck if you don’t feel things. I know this, because I spent a lot of time choosing not to feel, because I was afraid of what I was feeling or I didn’t know or understand what I was feeling..and therefore it was much easier to choose to feel - nothing.
